Proposed Changes to Nutritional Data

More emphasis on total calories, clearer info on number of servings/serving size, adding "Added Sugar" info, and getting rid of calories from fat.  I think all those changes make sense.  The only part I wasn't sure about was moving the %DV from the right to the left margins.  I'm not convinced that really gains anything.  Anyways, I'll be eager to see these changes at the grocery store! 


  1. Barking up the wrong tree for the most part. Calories in, calories out model misses the point. Noting total sugar & carbs good, as CARBS, not FAT (at least sat fats) aren't the problem.   2. not a fan of the left side %s either. also, why did they drop the nutrient info? I would have bolded serving size to emphasize portion rather than serv/containter

  3. serving sizes are going up too, who eats just half a cup of ice cream?
